about me

Handcrafted Jewellery Designer & Wax Carver

Gervasio Tamara was born in Italy, and studied five years as a sculptor at the Institute of Art and two years of specialisation in jewellery as wax carver and goldsmith designer in Rome.

She started  to create jewellery from home as a hobby after her two years of the goldsmith’s course in 1993, then she moved to England, London in 1998 creating her first collection of jewellery with the company name “Tg-Jewellery”.

Right here the desire to emerge lead her to remain in UK and what she considered only a hobby turned into passion and then blossomed into a career of creation , imagination and research.

Her specialisation is lost wax and all her pieces are hand-carved from a block of wax, using artisan tools that allow precise details for carving.

Her passion is aimed at creating unique handmade jewels with the aim of making a difference: with her approach to “everything is possible”, supported by her wealth of tenacity and work experience:

Tg-Jewellery offers you unique pieces that embody the beauty and finesse of traditional craftsmanship with modern and unconventional elements and the unique opportunity to design your jewellery for that special occasion and to see them made with a model in wax.

This process is taking you on a wonderful experience of literally seeing your design come to life, wearing it and modifying it according to your wishes.

She has collaborated with many other goldsmiths and fashion designer for Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood, by supplying them the lost wax prototype from their own design jewellery collection.

Her work is based on the principles of repeated regular and irregular patterns, which include different contrasting shapes such as organic forms of the nature that surrounds us, with geometric shapes combined with soft lines.

Her jewels are made of 925 silver, 18ct yellow and white gold combined with diamonds and precious and semi-precious stones.

Tamara’s work is constantly evolving, adding new design elements to its collection, which give it a wider charm, detaching itself from the classic Italian jewellery to get closer to a more innovative and contemporary jewels.

Her work has appeared in Italian television, in specialised fairs in Italy, England, Florida and sector magazines in Italy, England and Japan.

Get in touch with Tamara Gervasio to find out more, to see what she can do for you or to request a lost wax prototype.

Moved back in her country Italy, Rome from 2004 to 2012, she now based since 2013 in Cornwall, Uk.
